The program provided me with the skills, industry insights, and global exposure needed to navigate the luxury fashion industry. By taking initiative, demonstrating adaptability, and building strong relationships during my internship, I was able to transition seamlessly into a full-time role, turning my passion into a profession.
My transition from intern to full-time employment has been a journey of growth and learning. Through hands-on experience in project management, market strategy, research, and brand marketing for The Leela Hyderabad and icons of India, I developed the skills that now enable me to lead partnerships and brand marketing, overseeing strategic collaborations, communications, and marketing initiatives while ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
The diverse faculty, interactive sessions, and practical learning approach made my transition to a global academic environment seamless. The strong support during placements helped me secure the right opportunity. Beyond academics, the experience fostered a mindset of continuous learning, adaptability, and confidence.
The program allowed me to merge my design background with a strong understanding of the luxury market and consumer behaviour. It sharpened my ability to craft bespoke design solutions while aligning with high-end client expectations. This fusion of creativity and business acumen led me to my role as a Design Consultant at BoConcept, where I leverage both strategic and artistic skills to create personalized luxury experiences.
Securing a role in luxury marketing and sponsorships has been a journey shaped by strong academics and hands-on experience. Managing brand collaborations, PR, and sponsorships has reinforced the importance of relationship-building, adaptability, and strategic communication. Global exposure and practical learning played a key role in preparing me for cross-cultural collaborations, helping me navigate the dynamic luxury and media industries with confidence.
My journey with SP Jain’s twin city program shaped both my personal and professional growth. It pushed me to build my network, meet industry experts, and evolve into who I am today. Now, I stand strong as a luxury brand manager, business marketing strategist & advisor, while mentoring more than 150 MGLuxm aspirants. This journey wasn’t just about learning - it was about upgrading myself with no regrets, only progress!
