Known for crafting some of India’s most luxurious chocolate experiences, Fabelle welcomed students from MGLuxM Batch 16 and HBL Batch 4 to ITC Maratha, Mumbai, for an indulgent, hands-on chocolate journey.

As students sampled truffles, pralines, drageés, signature bars, and single-origin chocolates, they could see how taste, presentation, and storytelling work together to create a premium experience.

Luxury management students gained perspective in brand positioning, emotional value creation and sensory storytelling, while hospitality students observed elements of guest engagement, plating finesse, and attention to detail.

The bean-to-bar walkthrough was a highlight, offering insights into how flavour, texture, and quality are shaped at each stage of production. Students also learned how beverage pairings can enhance or contrast chocolate profiles, a key principle in gourmet dining and premium retail experiences.

Learning the fine balance of art and science in chocolate-making

The hands-on chocolate making station quickly became a creative playground. Some students took a serious, almost chef-like approach, while others leaned into the joy of experimenting.

The day concluded with a tasting of Fabelle’s signature creations and certificates presented by the ITC MasterChef, a meaningful recognition of both learning and participation.
