With hospitality brands rapidly expanding in India, the need for skilled business leaders is growing fast. SP Jain Global is strengthening industry academia collaboration in hospitality education through its Hospitality Business Leadership (HBL) program.
In conversation with ET Hospitality World, Smita Jain, Director of the Hospitality Business Leadership (HBL) program, explains that the program reflects the school’s vision of providing opportunities to students who might otherwise be unable to access such platforms.
“With all the major hospitality brands expanding massively in India now, this program brings amazing outcomes for the students. The vision of our president, Nitish Jain, and of the school has always been to offer this platform to Indian students,” she said.

Under a recent MoU signed between SP Jain Global and IHCL, students will gain real-world experience through scholarships, workshops, masterclasses, guest lectures, and live projects, ensuring they develop both practical skills and industry insight. Each batch will also feature one fully sponsored IHCL candidate, supported equally by SP Jain Global, Glion, and IHCL, reinforcing the program’s hands-on and career-focused approach.
