The Orientation program was organised for the students of Masters in Global Luxury Goods and Services Management Batch-02 at SP Jain’s Mumbai Campus on the 3rd of April, 2017 in collaboration with MIP Politechnico di Milano Graduate School of Business.
The Orientation program was organised for the students of Masters in Global Luxury Goods and Services Management Batch-02 at SP Jain’s Mumbai Campus on the 3rd of April, 2017 in collaboration with MIP Politechnico di Milano Graduate School of Business.
This program was held to acquaint the students with the academic aspects of the curriculum. Attended by both students and parents, the ceremony was hosted by Miss Soumya Shetty, and it began with the traditional Indian ceremony of lighting of the lamp by the course directors - Dr. Radhika Narayanan (Director of MGLuxM, SP Jain Global) and Dr. Alessandro Brun (Program Director, MIP), and four student body representatives.
It was further taken over by Dr. Radhika Narayan on behalf of the school, who shared the details of the course structure in Mumbai and Milan, and informed the students about the Live Project or Internship. Dr. Radhika also thanked the numerous committees at SP Jain for their support.
Dr. Alessandro Brun gave a quick inside story about MIP, Milan from the root it has been evolved and grown. He also elaborated on the Term 2 in Milan, which would be a deep dive into the luxury industry with a study tour and industrial visit.
The event concluded with a formal photograph of 2nd batch of MGLuxM with the course directors. This was then followed by a networking session and the introduction of the students to the classrooms and campus.
