Recently, students from the MGLuxM and MScHBL programs visited Chandon Vineyard, situated in the foothills of Nashik, a city renowned as the ‘wine capital of India’.
During their visit, students observed the meticulous process of crafting top tier wines. They particularly noted Chandon's refined approach to positioning its brand in the luxury segment, by utilising innovative marketing strategies and storytelling.
This experience provided them with insights on how a brand’s image is as critical as the quality of its wines. The tour sparked a deeper interest among students in the dynamics of the luxury wine market, encouraging them to explore the broader associations of branding, market positioning, and consumer behaviour.
