POLIMI Graduate School of Management organised a study tour for the Batch 9 students of the MGLuxM program in August 2022.

The industry visit started with a lecture on Swiss watchmaking and horology. The students were divided into groups and visited iconic brands like Rado, Jaquet Droz, Jaeger Le Coultre and Bovet. Here they got a first-hand experience in exploring Swiss watch brands' fascinating, rich history.

Some students also got the opportunity to visit Cronode and Neodisis – who are the watch manufacturers for various luxury brands.

The students had an exciting time at the International Museum of Horology, from learning about the history of watches to admiring the most outstanding pieces. Their tour ended with a visit to Camille Bloch, a Swiss luxury Chocolatier based in Courtelary.

From gaining insights into the luxurious watchmaking industry to getting a first-hand experience of the luxurious chocolate making factory, our students returned with a bagful of memories.
