MGLuxM students visit art galleries in Mumbai

On November 22, 2022, Batch 11 students of the Master in Global Luxury Goods & Services Management (MGLuxM) program at SP Jain visited the three beautifully curated art galleries in Mumbai.

Galerie Isa: A gallery which exclusively exhibits international contemporary art in India
Jhaveri Contemporary: Formed to represent artists across generations and nationalities
APRE Art House: A modern art gallery which features national and international artists

Our students had a great experience visiting the galleries, going through the exquisite collection of art walks, and discovering the amazing stories behind those pieces. They got special insights into how luxury and art are the two sides of the same coin.

'The sea falls into the night without a motion' by Gregor Hildebrandt (Gallery Isa), 'Thinking Hand' by Michael Muller (Jhaveri Contemporary), and 'Echoes' by Pallav Chander, Dhiraj Pednekar, Pavan Kavitkar (APRE Art House) were some of the showcased collections.

Hansika Jethnani, Co-founder and COO at Funky Maharani, spoke about art and interacted with the students as they walked between the maze of colours and patterns at the art galleries!
