On the 8th of November, 2016, the first ever batch of S P Jain’s Master’s in Luxury Management came together along with the faculty to make their fresher’s day memorable. Games, foot tapping music, delicious food, and a foosball table made the fresher’s ice breaker event a warm welcome. The involvement and passion exhibited by everyone on campus was also very inspiring for the students.

The fresher’s took place three weeks after the course started, and surprisingly, it worked so much better than a fresher’s on a first day. The party started off with a brief address and a quick game by Dr. Radhika. The students and faculty both played the game together and were inclusive and cooperative.
They say ‘good things come in small packages’, and that is apt for this batch of youngsters. Not for a second did the room feel too big or the crowd too small. The café made special efforts to provide the students with sumptuous and mouthwatering Indian and Italian delicacies, served in a simple, classy buffet. The event served as a great learning and bonding experience.
“The event organized was perfect and the director and team’s complete involvement, delicious food, jovial canteen hosts, disco ambience, and an amazing DJ made us feel warmly welcomed and happy to be here. We look forward to a fulfilling and exciting course ahead” – Student, Luxury Management Program, S P Jain.
