Aboard a luxurious yacht against the stunning panorama of Mumbai's skyline, Master of Science in Hospitality Business Leadership (MScHBL) students sailed away from the bustling cityscape to explore maritime hospitality with Blue Bay Marine, an esteemed luxury yacht company.

This industrial visit offered the students a deep dive into the complex workings of the hospitality industry. They had the opportunity to observe the fine interior and exterior of the yacht, accompanied by an insightful conversation with the founders Meherzad Kajanwalla and Gautam Bhatia. Meherzad and Gautam shared perspectives on the challenges and achievements of operating a successful company that offers yacht experiences not only in India but also in the Maldives and the Andaman Islands.

Through the conversation, students acquired knowledge about customising services, recognising preferences, and foreseeing the needs of customers while on board. As the yacht sailed through the Arabian Sea, they witnessed the skillset involved in presenting food on a yacht and elevating the dining experience beyond the ordinary.

Engaging discussions and delightful indulgence in snacks marked the concluding moments of their luxury sailing experience.
